Each passage in this pack will help you teach, assess, and give your students independent practice with standard RI.1.1, RI.1.2, RI.1.3, RI.1.4, RI.1.4, RI.1.5, RI.1.6, RI.1.7

The text is the same for each topic allowing students multiple reads of the same information. Depending on the standard, the tasks and questions on each page are different.

The standards are listed at the top of each page, so that you can easily identify which standard you are targeting.

Due to the nonfiction content, the reading level on these passages are higher than the fiction Take a Closer Look passages I sell.
