Description
This resource is a great way to build a foundation about Malcolm X with your young students. So often we only teach our students about Dr. King and a few other civil rights’ activists that stood up to racism in a peaceful way. Malcolm X seems to be largely ignored in elementary school? Why?
We want to show our students there can be more than one way to stand up against racism and teach them that even though Dr. King and Malcolm X had different approaches, one wasn’t necessarily better or worse.
Perfect for 1st-3rd grade!
We hope you enjoy this resource.
