We (Lydia Diaz and Naomi O’Brien) are a parent and an educator that care about what students all over the country and world are gaining from their public-school educations. It is our hope that this resource will help you advocate for not only your child/student, but on behalf of all of the students that attend your child/student’s school. Things won’t change if we aren’t willing to address them. We are a parent and an educator that care about what students all over the country and world are gaining from their public-school educations. Since we are asking educators/schools to change, we thought we could help them see what they could be doing instead of harmful books from a racist author.

We are including a slideshow for you to bring to a PTA meeting or to send to an educator to help share all of the research that we compiled.

Send or present this file to an educator or principal.
