I have been exploring student identity through interests and race/ethnicity in my first grade classroom. I am sharing my template here so that others may explore with their 1st and 2nd grade students.

There are:

-13 identity exploring tasks included in the journal.

-2 Home Connection Parent/Guardian Tasks

-Editable note home for parents/guardians

-Guiding questions to ask to go along with each task

-2 cover pages to choose from. (1 is editable and student picture can be added by the teacher.
