Students will read a short passage and gather information to input into a graph.

***Look, Tally, & Number It***

Students will look at the information on a graph and use that to tally up and write numbers for corresponding objects.

***Read The Graph***

Students will use information from a graph to answer questions.

Common Core Standards:

K.MD.3. Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count.

K.CC.4. Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.

1.MD.4. Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories; ask and answer questions about the total number of data points, how many in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another.
