Challenge your elementary students with these fun brain teasers!
Allowing your students to attempt to solve these unique challenges can be entertaining, rewarding, and improve their concentration.
This game is set up Jeopardy style through the use of Microsoft PowerPoint. Just enter the presentation mode from the first slide!
***Please note that if you do not have POWERPOINT you CAN NOT use the file the way it was intended to be used.***
This can be done whole group or with a small group. Rules are included in the game. Students will select from each row or column and earn 10, 15, 20, or 25 points. It will be up to you or the students to keep track of the points they have earned.
Once a question has been selected, it will fade away from the game board. Starting the game over will bring all of the selections back. 🙂
All questions have answer button that solves the brain teaser.
I like to give my students a sheet of white paper to record their thoughts, write, or draw to help them solve the brain teaser or puzzle.
I also encourage class discussion. Sometimes one students beginning thoughts and ideas, can hep another student who is able to add on and solve the brain teaser. It is such a fun process to watch.
Make sure to give your students plenty of think time and encourage them to think outside of the box.
I truly hope you enjoy this product and I hope your class does too! 🙂
Have fun playing and learning!
