As you introduce or review each letter of the alphabet, you can “unlock” the sound to add an element of fun to the process!
Glue locks to the back of the letters and flip them over, or simply take the lock down and add the unlocked sound card to reveal the letter and mouth placement. Refer to this sound wall often so that the students use it too!
It’s imperative for readers to pronounce sounds accurately.
Stress the difference in vowel sounds that can be tricky for kids to differentiate between.
